MTech in Aquacultural Engineering

The course in Aquacultural Engineering has started in 1984 with the objective of augmenting engineering inputs in the field of fisheries and aquaculture in the country as a result of the recommendation of the Planning Commission. The course includes following subjects: Open channel hydraulics and coastal engineering, Fishery biology and Fish culture techniques, Principles of fishing technology, Water quality management practices, Planning and Design of Aquacultural Projects, Design of Aquacultural Facilities and Equipments, Advanced Aquaculture Technology and Processing and Preservation of Aquacultural Products.
