Description

The program in Music Performance prepares students to become professional performers and scholars. Entering students have to audition to determine placement in appropriate applied music classes. A joint recital during the junior year and a complete recital during the senior year are required to assess competency. Graduates of the program receive the Bachelor of Music degree (B.M.). Performance major options are guitar, harp, jazz, organ, piano, strings, voice, and woodwinds, brass, percussion.
