Music majors pursuing the Popular Music concentration at Catawba College are prepared to establish successful careers as professional performers, songwriters, engineers, and/or producers in some form of contemporary pop music. They may explore careers in numerous music genres including rock, alternative, country jazz, gospel, urban, etc.
