Bachelors of Music in Performance in Jazz

The BMus in performance with a concentration in jazz places an emphasis on the improvisational aspects of jazz. The curriculum combines jazz performance, composition and pedagogy in a program that allows the student to express himself or herself musically while emphasizing the skills necessary to pursue a career as a professional musician.
