MS School Counseling

The School Counseling program was created by faculty members in accord with the certification requirements of the State of Pennsylvania and is accredited by CACREP. Coursework is based on the standards of: the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), the American School Counseling Association (ASCA) National Model for School Counseling Programs and National Standards for School Counseling programs, Ethical Standards for School Counselors developed by ASCA, certification requirements for school counselors as outlined by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Education, and the Pennsylvania Standards for School Counseling Programs.
