In their work with innovations, students should balance the various parts of the process function, design, durability, and conditions of production. This requires knowledge of, or interaction between, different disciplines where different perspectives and approaches are utilised. The programme is based on joint projects, often in collaboration with the industry and different organisations, along with advancement in their own subject area and a broadening towards other disciplines (business and design). Experiences from projects are discussed and put in relation to the student s professional skills. In separate courses studied scientific method used in the innovation process.
