MA Art History and Global Context

The degree program offers a global cultural geography approach with a focus on Eastern Asia, North America and Europe which is complemented by classes on art history of other cultural areas. The program aims for a methodical, deliberate and critical examination of historical and current phenomena such as transcultural issues, national identity, the history of style, post-colonialism, art geography, mobility, migration and cultural transfers.
