The BSc Health and Social Care has been designed for students who wish to develop a greater understanding of the health and social care sector and how it operates and is managed within a constantly evolving landscape. You will gain an understanding of different approaches to the organisation and financing of health and social care services and how they relate to wider social and political structures.As a student on the course you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the history and development of health and social care, both within the UK and internationally. The course will look at key concepts such as health, illness, need, inequality, poverty, identity and diversity, and their relation to health and social care.
