Doctor of Medicine and PhD

Dartmouth has a long tradition of academic excellence, a reputation for especially close faculty/student interactions, and a strong sense of community that enriches the educational experience of our students. The opportunity to study in a close community, combined with hands-on experience in a variety of clinical settings, allows for personal growth and inspired learning. MD-PhD students are also provided with mentoring resources at different levels of their academic careers. Mentors include include physician-scientists on the Dartmouth faculty as well as current students.
