Master in Mechanical Engineering

The academic background of the Mechanical Engineer Master at the University of Coimbra aims to prepare him for design and manufacture of parts and machines in general using conventional techniques or emerging techniques; for development actions in the energy and environmental area; for production management; for equipment maintenance; to act as entrepreneurs in the related industrial areas. The Master in Mechanical Engineering (MEM) aims to train professionals with high technical and scientific qualifications, as well as high standards of professional, social and ethical responsibility, able to apply Engineering concepts and techniques to the analysis and resolution of several and complex engineering problems.
