The Master's Degree Course in Law aims to ensure a basic legal preparation that allows a full and mature capacity for analysis, interpretation and combination of legal provisions with awareness of their practical and theoretical implications.
The organization of the study program aims in particular at:
° ensuring in-depth knowledge of the fundamental sectors of the system also with case studies techniques and methodologies;
° provide useful elements for the deepening of historical and comparative knowledge;
° refine the skills of interpretation, case analysis, legal qualification (relating facts to abstract cases), with particular reference to the philosophical and sociological profiles of legal experience, to legal logic and to the theory of interpretation and argumentation;
° ascertain the achievement of the skills and competences necessary for the use of information and telematic technologies, as well as encourage the acquisition of awareness of the implications of their use;
° promote in-depth knowledge of at least one European Union language, besides Italian, which allows graduates to use it fluently, in written and oral form, with reference also to the legal lexicon;
° in relation to specific training objectives, to promote the performance of any external activities, such as training internships in the public administration, in companies and public and private structures, in judicial offices, law firms in Italy and abroad;
° lay the foundations for a profitable and effective professional integration, introducing the knowledge of the ethical and deontological profiles of the legal professions and favoring the acquisition of the tools to ensure the continuous updating of one's knowledge.
