Electrical energy is the most important energy carrier of the future. The energy turnaround, i.e. the conversion of electrical energy supply to predominantly renewable energy sources as well as new energy, information and communication technologies, require emphatic changes in the operational environment of electrical energy systems. The study program provides students with the latest technological and methodical status in the fields of energy and automation technology. The course is characterized by the up-to-dateness of the content taught and intensive, practical research work. Projects to be worked on independently or in a team as well as an innovation project play an important role in the study program. All project work is carried out within the framework of highly topical research priorities. There is always close cooperation with the supervising scientists.
