The standard period of study for the Bachelor's degree in Economics is three academic years or six semesters and consists of a core and a specialization area of three semesters each. 30 credits and a total of 180 credits must be acquired per semester. While the core area shows a clear structure with a large number of compulsory modules, the specialization area opens up a wide range of options thanks to its interdisciplinary orientation.
The bachelor's degree has a modular structure. The individual modules usually consist of a lecture and an exercise in which the content of the lecture can be deepened. The events take place in German. An international orientation of the students is supported by the possibility of a semester abroad as well as a simple recognition of achievements abroad. In addition, within the framework of the key qualifications, a clear focus is placed on the acquisition of practical experience as well as methodological, technical and social skills, which are based on the needs of the labor market.
