The student knows the basic concepts and structures in the field of information technology, can use the principles of software engineering, is oriented in IoT and modern communication technologies, can create a graphical interface for control and monitoring of mechatronic systems in a web application, can document the created software product and evaluate its quality and usability. Introduction to the Internet of Things. Industrial and consumer Internet of Things. Introduction of Arduino, NodeMCU and Raspberry Pi platforms. Working with sensors and actuators. Introduction to Raspberry PI OS, Python programming. Communications, protocols and networks for the Internet of Things. Client-server architecture. Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks, web sockets) - backend and frontend. Data archiving. Principles of systems engineering in information technology. Creation of project documentation, archiving and versioning of information projects, software support for team work. Cloud technologies and Big data. Issues of quality, security and reliability of algorithms in IoT.
