Founded in 1933, National Aviation University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Kyiv (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Kiev Oblast. This institution also has branch campuses in the following locations: Slovyansk, Kryviy Rih, Kremenchuk, Vasylkov. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, National Aviation University (NAU) is a very large (enrollment range: over-45,000 students) coeducational Ukrainian higher education institution.
