The International College of Liberal Arts (iCLA) at Yamanashi Gakuin University offers a four- year, Bachelor of International Liberal Arts taught entirely in English. iCLA offers majors in Global Business and Economics, Political Science, Interdisciplinary Art, and Japan Studies. iCLA students can also choose from an array of elective courses in Data Science, Psychology and Sociology, Japanese Language, and Japanese Culture. Over 70% of our students and 60% of our faculty members are from overseas, creating a truly multi-cultural environment. iCLA is located just 90 minutes west of central Tokyo in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, an area which is famed for its breath-taking landscapes, historic sites, hot springs, hiking trails, fruit orchards and vineyards, all set against the iconic backdrop of Mount Fuji. iCLA offers students the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in essence of Japan and its culture, whilst acquiring a contemporary and globally relevant education at our state-of-the-art facilities.
