Tilburg University

I study Psychology (international bachelor) and it's really cool tbh. you will definitely need to work and put in a substantial amount of effort to pass. It is not an easy university where you can just get a degree. Really good teachers (at least most of the time) and great facilities. The thing I like the most is the campus, it's really beautiful and full of nature..etc Just before you come here to check the housing situation, because it is a huge problem and many students were camping/homeless for a long while, and even until now 4 months in to the year, some students still cant find a place.

I have been studying here for almost a month and I already have an opinion about this university! I came here because of the university's high ratings and, because Netherlands is known for it's high educational level and stable economic situation! So far university hasn't failed me and is upon its standards. I really love the ideology of university, that provides qualitative time at university and also does not overload students with home works and gives time to do something else, not just studies (part-time job, sports, associations, etc). Outside studies there were critical situation with accommodations, because there were huge amount of students that came here without place to stay. This is question that university needs to consider and make improvements (accept less students or make some student apartments). Also I am not in awe about all professors, but i think it depends on people and you can't get everyone's affection, main point is to give value to our knowledge! I love environment in this school and can't wait for everything that is expected in the future!

In my opinion, Tilburg University is one of the best not only in the Netherlands but also in Europe. It was in the list of the best 10 universities in Europe with its Business program. The university is demanding but at the same time, there are a lot of activities outside of the lecture halls.

The university has excellent academic staff and international atmosphere. Besides gaining a true knowledge about the field of study, there are lots of opportunities to develop yourself, ranging from study or student associations, and sports facilities. The network built here stays lifelong.

I have found Tilburg university a very good university. Professors are well prepared, classes and programs are interesting and well balanced between theory and practice. Group work has been absolutely interesting and formative and gave me the chance to apply what I was studying in a proactive way. The campus is well organized, with many classes, the appropriate number of Pc stations and it is plenty of study halls. Student Accommodation (Verbs) is very close to the university, and it is the center of the social life, even if you have to share the flat with other 16 people and sometimes the common spaces are not very tidy. Tilburg is a people-friendly city, full of students from all over the world, which guarantee an intense social life and number of events.

I've been studying a research master at tilburg for one month and I already feel that I've learned a lot. The classes are very demanding and it can be quite stressful, 8 readings per week plus assignments, but the professors are very competent, kind and encouraging. I'm also learning a lot from my classmates. In my master we are a small group of 16, all coming from different backgrounds and countries. It's very interesting to discuss the topics with them :). The facilities of the uni are also good. I wish the food in the cafeterias tasted better but maybe I just need to get used to dutch food…
