School of Computer Science and Engineering

This discipline originates from the major of "solving technology and device" founded in 1960. It has a national first-level discipline doctoral program, a post-doctoral mobile station and a Changjiang Distinguished Professor of the Ministry of Education. It is an advantageous discipline in Jiangsu Province and a national first-level key discipline cultivation and construction. Among them, "computer application technology" is a national key secondary discipline. In September 2017 , "Computer Science and Technology" was selected as the "Double First-Class" National Key Construction Discipline, and at the end of the same year, "Computer Science" entered the top 1 ‰ of the ESI discipline ranking in the world. This discipline has the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Computer Network and Information Integration, Jiangsu Provincial Computer Network Technology Key Laboratory, Jiangsu Provincial Network and Information Security Key Laboratory, Sino-French Biomedical Information Research Center and China Education and Research Network East (North) Regional centers and other scientific research bases. After nearly 60 years of construction, it has formed a new situation featuring computer network technology and application, and the coordinated and rapid development of the entire discipline.
