Furniture Design at York St John University and you ll benefit from our excellent facilities and industry links with leaders in furniture design and development. You will be one of a small but growing number of furniture design students that we admit annually onto this Furniture Design programme. This gives us the opportunity to get to know you individually and help you to become a professional designer of furniture and associated products. The programme provides you with the opportunity to research design and make furniture in a broad sector of the creative economy and to help you develop further your knowledge and understanding of industrial and commercial manufacturing processes, the use of CAD-CAM techniques through to the creation of hand - made bespoke artisan products
