Throughout Canada only certified Power Engineers are permitted to operate, maintain and manage equipment such as boilers, compressors, turbines and refrigeration units. Lambton College s newly renovated closed loop 107 KW power generation plant operates exclusively as a training facility and is located in Centre of Excellence in Energy & Bio-Industrial Technologies. This is the only training unit of its kind in Ontario and students work collaboratively to generate and operate the power plant.
