BA Sociology

Sociology seeks to explain and understand social activities on the micro-level, the meso-level and the macro-level. Sociological theories and analyzes cover a wide range of social aspects. At the core stand societal structures and how they change, forms of communitization and socialization, social structures, institutions and cultural phenomena that arise as a result of the activities of people and, at the same time, influence them. Based on empirical research and in close contact with related disciplines, sociological analyzes contribute to the diagnosis of social problems and conflicts, reveal development potentials and solution options and critique erroneous social developments.
