Applied Social Science BA Hons

This broad-based degree will deepen your knowledge of how societies operate and how people within them interact with one another. The course will promote critical thinking and extend your ability to link theory and research to policy and practice. You will learn about professional research skills and techniques and how to apply them competently and ethically to the evaluation and analysis of current social issues.During your first year of study, the programme equips you with a foundation of social science ideas and perspectives and encourages you to relate these to discussion of a wide range of contemporary social problems and community controversies.
