BSc Psychology

Psychology is a fascinating field focused on the scientific study of behavior, the brain, and mental processes. Courses available to students include Introduction to Psychology, Human Sexuality, Forensic Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, and Human Growth and Development. Skills obtained through the study of psychology include critical thinking, appreciation and experience in scientific principles, and a deeper understanding of human relationships that can be applied to nearly any professional setting. Students at ECC may take psychology courses to prepare for transfer to a four-year university majoring in psychology, as requirements or electives for other ECC programs, or for personal growth.
