The subject Prehistory and Protohistory makes a fundamental contribution to the study of human societies. During your studies of prehistoric and historical archeology you will acquire basic knowledge about the cultural development of man from the Paleolithic to the present, not only in Europe, but worldwide. One way to learn more about the past is to analyze the material legacies. Therefore you will learn subject-specific theories, methods and working techniques.
