BA in Classical Archaeology

The BA s programme in classical archaeology focuses on the Greco-Roman cultural area, from the Bronze Age to late antiquity. It aims to equip students with fundamental knowledge of the analysis, reconstruction and interpretation of material and visual sources, as well as the ability to analyse these sources critically. The BA's programme in Classical Archaeology imparts basic knowledge in the field of historical and cultural studies, and thus provides a solid basis for further education, especially for all master s programmes in the area of antiquity studies.
