This program explores the complex histories of American Indian and Indigenous communities as well as learn about contemporary issues affecting them today. Our diverse faculty members teach AIIS courses that cover a range of topics such as: art, art history, anthropology, archeology, English, fiber science and apparel design, law, linguistics, horticulture, natural resources and more.
