Accelerated EdD Higher Education

The Warner School s programs in higher education instill in students a passion to take the initiative and skills to inspire and carry out change in America s colleges, universities, and related educational enterprises. As advocates for thoughtful leadership, graduates understand how to motivate others, make decisions, manage people and processes, and enable individuals to reach their highest potential. They also become thoughtful leaders and researchers with a comprehensive understanding of the institutional and cultural world of higher education. Throughout the program, students learn to use intellectual skills to approach the challenges of academic life with creativity and a deep appreciation of the fundamental purposes and ideals of higher education.Warner graduates bring leadership skills from the ability to set standards and goals, to an understanding of how to motivate others to the daytoday challenge of educational administration in higher education. Through our doctoral program in higher education, students broaden and deepen their knowledge and skills in higher education and serve as advocates and change agents for postsecondary education, as well as researchers and professors in higher education settings.
