BA Hons Social Work

The University of Salford s BA (Hons) in Social Work provides cutting edge approaches to teaching and learning. Engaging students in a critical and meaningful approach to practice, the BA (Hons) in Social Work provides students with the requisite knowledge, values and skills needed to begin to recognise and address some of the most difficult social problems facing individuals, communities and societies today. The programme is characterised by a research-led curriculum in which staff use their own social work knowledge and experience to support students to learn and critically apply different theories and methods of research and practice. Governed by a Teaching Excellence Framework, these innovative and creative approaches to learning are designed to prepare students for confident and capable social work practice as applied with people living and working in diverse settings.
