BA Hons Young People Communities and Society

Empower people of all ages by combining social care with social science. You will learn how to work with individuals, families and communities by looking at local policy, provision and contemporary practices that are used in relation to these groups. Your knowledge will grow from the local to the global. As you progress, you will study national and international issues and viewpoints, increase your cultural awareness and apply your practical experience to the wider society. You will gain an understanding of how different professions work together to support vulnerable people, and you will learn how to manage projects that will make a difference to communities.
