Bachelors in Chemistry

The chemistry department at Brandeis has a tradition of innovation and excellence in teaching and research, offering our students a world-class education in an intimate setting where faculty and students work closely.As a chemistry major you'll develop extensive, practical experience through lab courses using both macro- and microscale techniques. You'll be strongly encouraged to participate in independent research our award-winning and nationally recognized faculty's research spans the traditional widely established areas of chemistry (inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry) and newly emerging interdisciplinary fields such as chemical biology, biophysical chemistry, and materials chemistry.
