The original intention of the Department was to cultivate professional talents in libraries and information services to serve the community. The development characteristics of the Department are engaged in the collection, organization, analysis and arrangement of information resources, research of information seeking behavior, planning and design of information service systems, dissemination of information resources, provision of information services, etc., with a view to integrating information and technology and achieving the purpose of education.
