BS Human Services

Shorter University s online Bachelor of Science in Human Services program will help students make a difference in the lives of others and their community and will also help students acquire the knowledge and skills they will need to develop as professionals in the human services industry. This degree prepares the student for positions with clinics, hospitals, government agencies, nonprofits, and other organizations that assist at-risk populations. Students will gain an understanding of the human developmental process and will learn to use their diagnostic skills to analyze and to manage behavioral issues. Students will also gain an understanding of global and domestic problems, cross-cultural differences, diversity, as well as the ethical responsibilities of their profession.
