BS in Statistics Secondary Major

In response to requests from current Baylor students, the Department of Statistical Science proposes the creation of a secondary major in Statistics. Our world is becoming more quantitative and data-focused, job opportuni ties in statistics are plentiful and projected to increase worldwide. Many industries depend on statisticians to analyze data and help make critical decisions. Career prospects are excellent for graduates that combine a degree in statistics with knowledge of other subjects such as business, engineering, science, social sciences, and the arts.
