BA Physics

An introduction to the evolution of physical theories and models of natural phenomena from ancient Greece to modern times. A modified physics major may be desirable for students interested in a broad range of careers such as medicine, the health professions, public policy, or journalism. The prerequisites for the modified major are the same as those for the physics major. The modified major consists of ten additional courses, of which at least six must be in the Department of Physics and Astronomy.
