Bachelor of Science Mathematics

Mathematics teaches you to think logically and approach problems in analytical and creative ways. RMIT offers one of the only stand-alone applied mathematics undergraduate programs in Australia. Mathematics graduates apply their problem-solving skills to a wide variety of fields, including: banking and finance, environmental modelling (resources, biodiversity, weather and climate), data sciences and decision science, network sciences, sport management, logistics, management, information security (coding, cryptography), engineering (fluid mechanics, optimising industrial processes), education and research.
