BSc Entomology

The department is based on the insects of the arthropods of the animal kingdom. Since the retreat from Taiwan to the 98th academic year, there have been 929 graduates from the insects group, 363 masters, and 120 doctors. The total number of graduates is 1,412. The teacher-student relationship is harmonious and the teacher takes care of the students. Due to the small number of students in each class, the feelings between classmates are also strong. Insects have a wide range of research fields, and all areas of the life sciences are involved. It is an indispensable part of agricultural development. Thanks to the careful study and hard work of all teachers and students, plus the application of biotechnology and molecular biology, the content of entomology is enriched. I believe the future development prospects of this department will be promising.
