BS Clinical Laboratory Science

The clinical laboratory science program (CLS) provides students with a wide range of laboratory based career opportunities. Clinical lab scientists carry out diagnostic procedures in clinical, industrial, and research laboratories. They are the indispensable, top-level laboratory personnel, that is, supervisors, specialists, and teachers. Many CLS graduates become active in medical research, and opportunities in independent laboratories and biotechnology industries. The CLS program can also prepare students for graduate work leading to advanced degrees.
