BSc Marine Ecosystem and Fishery Sciences

The Bachelor of Science in Marine Ecosystem and Fishery Science (Marsys) offers both comprehensive theoretical knowledge as well as methodological knowledge and skills in the marine sciences. The students gain an overview of the biodiversity in various ocean regions of the world ocean and learn to understand the basic functioning of marine food webs and the underlying biogeochemical processes. Furthermore, extensive knowledge on questions of the management of marine resources and ecosystems, the rules of good scientific work provides vocational and social skills.
