BHS Honours Nutrition

The Nutrition programme in the School of Health Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia is designed to provide knowledge in the basic human nutrition and focuses towards community nutrition in Malaysia. Students are exposed to multiple aspects of food, dietary nutrient requirement, evaluation of nutritional status and issues of lifelong nutrition cycle. The problems of nutrition in a community and methods in overcoming these problems will also be explored. We hope to produce versatile graduates who are able to transform knowledge to develop and sustain social well-being.
