BSc Dental Hygiene

Dental hygienists are credentialed and licensed health professionals who play an important role in the delivery of oral as well as overall health care. They provide preventive dental services, nonsurgical periodontal instrumentation, patient/family/community education, nutritional counseling and tobacco cessation referral. Dental hygienists are caring people who enjoy being with others and working with their hands. They also have good communication skills that help them teach important health care concepts.
