The field of mHealth (the integration of mobile communication technology into healthcare) is significantly transforming the way disease is diagnosed, monitored and treated and our graduates will be well placed to make a positive impact in this field. With the 5G Innovation Centre and new Engineering for Health Centre, the University of Surrey will be at the forefront of this new technology. The degree is part of Surrey s pioneering Innovation for Health programme, designed to bring together computer, data and health scientists to meet the challenges of an ageing population and changing patterns of disease, developing technologies that will facilitate improvements in healthcare.
