Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Sciences

The Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences, delivered by the Faculties of Biosciences and Medicine at the Universitat Aut noma de Barcelona, combines training in biology and medicine and focuses on the biological bases of human pathologies. The degree prepares its students for biomedical research. The aim is for the students to understand the relationship between molecular mechanisms and biological functions, and be able to apply this knowledge to key issues in health and human pathologies. They learn techniques and methodologies used to study the biological bases of diseases, their diagnosis and monitoring, and the appropriate treatments for each case.
