Animal Science BS

Having a farm complex on campus is an integral part of the animal science program at Rutgers. You ll take practicums and conduct independent research in the handling, management, feeding, reproduction, physiology, and behavior of dairy heifers, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, and laboratory animals. You will have the opportunity to participate in internshipsthat offer college credit for work in a variety of settings, including veterinary practices, pharmaceutical companies and other industry research laboratories (and we encourage international experiences as well).
