BA in History

A major in history is excellent preparation for many careers in a variety of fields. Students skilled in research,analysis and writing are attractive to graduate programs,professional programs,businesses,etc. History enables students to examine the human past -- through American,African-American,and World History. Its primary goal of History at Fisk is to: prepare broadly educated men and women for entry into diverse profession careers and public life; to foster the skills that history teaches: analysis,evaluation,and synthesis.
