BA Languages History and Cultures of the Middle East

The subject deals with the languages, history, religion and cultures of the peoples of the Near and Middle East since late antiquity. The subject works mainly historical-philological, but depending on the subject of investigation also other methods are used. This predominantly historical-philological orientation makes it necessary to provide a thorough study of Arabic in the language of education and other literary languages in the Middle East in order to create the necessary prerequisites for scientific work with original texts.
