BA in History

The University of Vienna s bachelor s programme in History provides basic education in history, following recommendations of the History Subject Area (Tuning Educational Structures in Europe CLIOHnet). It prepares students for postgraduate studies in the field of humanities, social sciences or cultural studies. Moreover, graduates are well-prepared for a career in occupational fields that require knowledge of history, competences in communicating this knowledge, digital and media competences, international experience, a high level of independence and the ability to work in teams.
