Description
The undergraduate agricultural education program is a collaborative partnership between the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS) and the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD). Graduates of the program are prepared for formal and non-formal teaching positions. Students are prepared to meet Minnesota Board of Teaching requirements in agricultural education for grades 5-12 and for teacher coordinator of work-based learning. It includes a broad study of courses in food, agriculture, and natural resources. Professional courses are focused on standards of effective teaching and content pedagogy
