Bachelor of Science in Science Technology Mathematics and Engineering Education

Science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) play an increasingly important role in society, from addressing critical needs, spawning new innovations and influencing the global economy.To answer national concerns about the quality of k-12 education in these vital areas, and to attract a wide range of science and mathematics majors into secondary teaching careers, the Bachelor of Science in STEM Education at Florida Tech prepares students on how to become a teacher in high school science, technology, engineering or math. This four-year UTeach program is an innovative teacher preparation program first established at the University of Texas at Austin, focused on addressing the national shortage of STEM education teachers in America's schools.
