The programmes run in a congenial and liberal ambience is not hard to find at CUHK, what makes the LSED programme liberal in its true sense is its remarkably wide range of electives. The programme design allows students to build a solid and multidisciplinary knowledge base through taking required courses and enhancement electives from 17 collaborating departments in the Faculties of Arts, Science, Social Science and Medicine, so that they will be competent to teach the areas of study prescribed by the official Liberal Studies Curriculum, said Prof. Alison Yeung, Associate Professor of Practice of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.
