BA Spanish

The World Languages and Literatures Department recognizes that knowledge of a second language, like Spanish, is essential to the global citizen of the 21st century. Language skills enhance the resumes of students in government, business, law, science, technology, education, health and social services. Teacher certification is available in Spanish, in conjunction with the College of Education. Studying the Spanish language, literature and culture can also help students acquire jobs in tourism, international business and foreign diplomatic services.
